Who may be a witness?
Relatives may not testify together
And a freed slave?
A father and son who saw the new moon — both go
Tanna KammaNo→ each may pair with someone else
Rabbi ShimonYes→ for the new moon, relatives are fit
Moshe and Aharon — brothers — saw the first new moon
Tuviah the doctor, his son and his freed slave
MishnahThe father and the son — not the slave→ lineage: the Kohanim would not take a freed slave
Before Beis Din
MishnahThe father and the slave — not the son→ relatives can't pair; a freed slave can
