Repaying a released debt
MishnahYes — the spirit of the Chachamim is pleased with him→ beyond the letter of the law
A loan from a convert whose sons converted with him
A convert's sons do not inherit him
MishnahNo — as converts, the sons are not the ger’s heirs; but repay them anyway and the spirit of the Chachamim is pleased→ not owed — but repay, and the Chachamim are pleased
Movables are acquired by pulling them in
Money alone doesn't acquire themlest the seller not save them from a fire
MishnahYes — money alone doesn’t close the sale; only meshichah does; but whoever stands by his word — the spirit of the Chachamim is pleased with him→ keep your word anyway
Siyum Masechta Sheviis
it ends: stand by your word
Sheviis 10:9
