גָּדֵר שֶׁיֶּשׁ בּוֹ עֶשֶׂר אֲבָנִים שֶׁל מַשְּׂאוֹי שְׁנַיִם שְׁנַיִם, הֲרֵי אֵלּוּ יִנָּטֵלוּ.
שִׁעוּר גָּדֵר, עֲשָׂרָה טְפָחִים.
פָּחוֹת מִיכַּן, מְחַצֵּב וְגוֹמְמוֹ עַד פָּחוֹת מֵהָאָרֶץ טֶפַח.
בַּמֶּה דְבָרִים אֲמוּרִים,
מִתּוֹךְ שֶׁלּוֹ,
אֲבָל מִתּוֹךְ שֶׁל חֲבֵרוֹ, מַה שֶּׁהוּא רוֹצֶה, יִטֹּל.
בַּמֶּה דְבָרִים אֲמוּרִים,
בִּזְמַן שֶׁלֹא הִתְחִיל בּוֹ מֵעֶרֶב שְׁבִיעִית.
אֲבָל אִם הִתְחִיל בּוֹ מֵעֶרֶב שְׁבִיעִית, מַה שֶּׁהוּא רוֹצֶה, נוֹטֵל:
A wall that has in it ten stones each a load for two [people], these may be taken.
The measure of [such] a wall is ten tefachim.
Less than this, he may quarry and level it to within a tefach of the ground.
In what case is this said?
When [taking] from his own [field],
but [taking] from his fellow's [field], whatever he wishes, he may take.
In what case is this said?
When he did not begin it from erev Sheviis.
But if he began it from erev Sheviis, whatever he wishes, he may take:
