כָּל שֶׁהֶחֱזִיקוּ עוֹלֵי בָבֶל, מֵאֶרֶץ יִשְׂרָאֵל וְעַד כְּזִיב,
לֹא נֶאֱכָל וְלֹא נֶעֱבָד.
וְכָל שֶׁהֶחֱזִיקוּ עוֹלֵי מִצְרַיִם, מִכְּזִיב וְעַד הַנָּהָר וְעַד אֲמָנָה,
נֶאֱכָל, אֲבָל לֹא נֶעֱבָד.
