טְבִילָה וְקִדּוּשׁ לִפְנֵי הָעֲבוֹדָה

שֶׁפַּעַם אַחַת עָלָה מְאוֹר הַלְּבָנָה וְדִמּוּ שֶׁהֵאִיר מִזְרָח,
וְשָׁחֲטוּ אֶת הַתָּמִיד,
וְהוֹצִיאוּהוּ לְבֵית הַשְּׂרֵפָה.
הוֹרִידוּ כֹהֵן גָּדוֹל לְבֵית הַטְּבִילָה.
זֶה הַכְּלָל הָיָה בַמִּקְדָּשׁ,
כָּל הַמֵּסֵךְ אֶת רַגְלָיו טָעוּן טְבִילָה,
וְכָל הַמַּטִּיל מַיִם טָעוּן קִדּוּשׁ יָדַיִם וְרַגְלָיִם.
