These are the tools that a craftsman may not sell in Sheviis:
a plow and all its parts,
the yoke,
the winnowing fork,
and the [digging] hoe.
But he may sell a hand-sickle, a harvesting sickle, a wagon and all its parts.
This is the rule: anything whose use is designated for a transgression is forbidden.
[Anything used] for both a forbidden and a permitted [purpose] is permitted:
A reading aid, not an exact translation.

This English is a clause-by-clause rendering to help you follow the Hebrew. It is not word-for-word literal, and it is not a transcript of the recorded shiur — the audio carries explanation and context the translation deliberately leaves out.
